Place of death
[edit]If one refers to the German state Hanover at "place of birth" then one should although refer to the state at the "place of death" which is Prussia. I corrected this.
Company foundation date
[edit]The Siemems archive has provided the correct foundation date for the company. Relevant email segments will be added to Talk:Carl Wilhelm Siemens (in a few days). Noisy | Talk 17:32, July 19, 2005 (UTC)
Werner or Ernst Werner
[edit]What was his name? monkey From the second paragraph on he is only called Werner. Could somebody explain that? Ben T/C 11:57, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
- Although Ernst Werner is the correct name, Siemens is usually referred to as 'Werner von Siemens'. -- mamut 15:06, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Which one?
[edit]Siemens left school without finishing his education, but joined the army to undertake training in engineering....
Do we know which army? Hanover was a kingdom after 1815 and its union with the United Kingdom (via the Hanoverian Succession) ended in 1837. It remained a kingdom until 1866, when it was annexed by Prussia.
