[edit]I'm having trouble finding references on this topic. I've been to the fair and I know it's a big deal, and I believe the second largest fair in the USA. I'm going to try some local media sites and see what comes up. I have a rather good knwledge about the fair but I'm sure enough about any of the numbers to post them. --T-rex 17:04, 5 November 2005 (UTC)
On August 20, 2007 the Buffalo News Published that it is estimated the 2007 fair's attendence will be more than 1 million, and that the 2003 fair was the last time there were one million attendees. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.149.100.21 (talk)
The fair is not the largest in new york but is in fact 110 acres smaller than the great new york state fair. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.186.164.186 (talk) 04:39, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Hamburger
[edit]There are several places and events that claim to have been the birthplace of the hamburger, including the Columbian Exposition in Chicago. This section has no references, makes no mention of the fact that the issue is contentious, and is not written in the style of an encyclopedia. Instead as written it sounds like promotional copy or folklore. The section either needs to be re-written with sources cited, mention of the fact that the claim is in doubt, and in a more encyclopedic style, or it should be deleted altogether. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.5.18.37 (talk) 11:10, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
