Any reason why this isn't simply at Erdös conjecture?

Done. This is now a disambig page to collect all the many Erdös conjectures. -- Karada 17:26, 8 Oct 2003 (UTC)

Rubin

[edit]

As the "Rubin" of the Erdős-Rubin-Taylor conjecture, I'd like to know what it is, also. The paper has a number of conjectures, but there isn't one that stands out in my mind. Of course, it was 26 years ago. Arthur Rubin | (talk) 23:48, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge to List of topics named after Paul Erdős

[edit]

I'd like to suggest that we merge this list into List of topics named after Paul Erdős, to keep all the items listed in one place, thereby helping our readers. The List of topics... currently includes a few of the items on this page, but not all, and that isn't clear at a glance.

IANAM, so thought I should propose it first, rather than boldly doing so. Thoughts? Thanks. -- Quiddity (talk) 20:19, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is now a cross-reference page rather than a disambiguation page. I don't think it makes sense to do the proposed merge, because the topics are different: this is about things conjectured by Erdős (that may not have been named after him) while the other one is for things named after Erdős (that may not have been conjectured or proved by him). —David Eppstein (talk) 06:48, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Erdős-Selfridge conjecture solved?

[edit]

I saw an arxiv paper (also accepted in a journal), that this conjecture is solved. But I don’t know if it is the same as the one they proved even if it is called that. Link for the paper: https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.math/0507374 49.36.200.81 (talk) 05:04, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
