I added a second link to a article describing that the day was officially proclaimed by the Premier of British Columbia. Lfrench (talk) 20:29, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability is still thin; are there additional news articles or coverage about the event? Some mention of the event's history would be useful as well, if backed by sources - is this the first year, or has it gone on in years past? Is it just this high school, or are there others that participate? Which ones, where? I've removed the speedy tag, but the article could still be nominated for deletion by AfD; adding more sources and information would prevent this. I support keeping this article. It is notable when schools across Canada have made a regular annual event out of it, with related activities. A search should turn up numerous reliable sources for reference. The quality of the article is fairly low at this time. It is poorly sourced and it is almost completely non-encyclopedic in tone and format. That should be fixed. --Taquito1 (talk) 17:06, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I, too, support keeping it.  allixpeeke (talk) 05:13, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction

[edit]

The third sentence reads, in part, "the United Nations declared the official day to be May 4, (therefore some countries prefere [sic] to celebrate it on the 28/29 February), which was..."

"Therefore"?  How does the-United-Nations-declaring-the-official-day-to-be-May-4th cause any country to "prefere" to celebrate it on the 28th or the 29th of February?  I'm failing to grasp the cause-and-effect relationship here.

Pink Shirt Day is not only the "official" name but also the common name

[edit]

"Pink Shirt Day" is by far the more common name in comparison to "Anti-Bullying Day". See:
