Size of Augusta Emerita
[edit]In paragraphs two of the Augusta Emerita article, the city is described as 20,000 square kilometers (7,700 square miles) in size. Something this size would be a massive City, taking up a big chunk of southern Spain itself. Perhaps the measurement was 20.0 square kilometers (7.7 sq. mi.), or a smaller unit of measurement was intended. I haven’t found the answer at this time, but wanted to bring it to the attention of the experts. VicLazlo (talk) 18:33, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- Fixed Thanks for pointing this out. I've corrected the info per the source (which is not the greatest) to read "The city, one of the largest in Hispania, was the capital of the Roman province of Lusitania, controlling an area of over 20,000 square kilometres (7,700 sq mi)." I'm glad you corrected yourself about the sizes of Spain and Europe relative to this figure.;-) I will replace the source later. Carlstak (talk) 00:57, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
