[edit]No, no, no, *why* are we using tables for tracklistings now? Jason 00:50, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
Edit war regarding track listing
[edit]Hello to everyone. In an effort to improve this article (as well the articles on Elvis Presley's many other albums) I reworked the track listing by using Wikipedia's track listing template (see example below). Both ways contain the same information but I believe that my way looks better, plus I think it is proper to put the song titles in quotation marks and spell out the recording dates (i.e., January 30, 1956 rather than 1/30/56). I have also corrected several links and song titles, such as "I'll Never Let You Go (Little Darlin')".
Unfortunately, another editor has been undoing my work. Therefore, I'm entering this message on the talk page as an effort to allow other to offer their opinion on what looks best. Please help if you can. Thanks. Jimknut (talk) 21:29, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

- If I'm being completely honest, I do prefer the look of the altered version. However, Wikipedia has templates for a reason and I don't know the full ins and outs regarding altering them. If we're voting on which one we prefer then I definitely vote for the new version. I think it looks neat and easy to read. ElvisFan1981 (talk) 08:45, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

Early record releases
[edit]Why isn't "Hound dog" listed, which was released on July 13, 1956? Aaroncorrell (talk) 13:51, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
Release date
[edit]I changed the Release Date from March 23 to March 13. The old date didn't have a citation. There are dozens (or hundreds?) of web pages listing either date. I can't really point to any of them as actually authoritative, so I have no citation either. However, I am sure the March 23 date is too late. The album was reviewed in the March 24 issue of Billboard magazine, which went on sale March 19. Billboard did not review albums that had not yet been released. So it was definitely released before March 19, and March 13 is probably the exact date. PatConolly (talk) 04:01, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
UK title
[edit]Isn’t the original UK title just “Rock ’n’ Roll”? That’s what it says on the back cover and label.
