[edit]are there any groups that like this woman? Obviously she obtains re-election, so it would seem an NPOV requirement to list what groups support her agenda or what local interests are aligned with her politically. For instance, the North Country is full of hunters who are not supportive of gun contnol bills. People directly along the Hudson aren;t too keen on dredging....et al —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.9.141.171 (talk • contribs)
- I agree that it is very unbalanced, hopefully someone with knowledge of the area can come in and do a better job. I've tried to take out some of the more egregious stuff. MrPrada (talk) 17:56, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
an overwhelmingly Republican gerrymander? first of all, her district isn't gerrymandered — it consists of six counties in their entirety. and second of all, it is far from overwhelmingly Republican — Barack Obama got 55% of the vote in her Senate district. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.47.76.242 (talk) 16:18, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
How could this happen?
[edit]This page reads like a campaign ad for Little; if the pages for the rest of New York's State Assembly members are similar in nature then perhaps the whole category should be deleted. Duke53 | Talk 12:17, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- Well, the editor who wrote most of this ([1]) also did a kind of hatchet job on John Sweeney, so they don't seem to be a simple Republican flak. I suspect the problem here is too few readers knowledgeable enough to edit this down to bedrock-- I know I'm not. It will be interesting to see if your fact tags draw any refs or other changes. -- Mwanner | Talk 13:44, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
- Sweeney (and his actions) did nothing to endear himself to his fellow Republicans; it might very well be the work of a 'simple Reublican flak.' Duke53 | Talk 17:27, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
