Efficiency
[edit]Please notice the difference between the supply of electricity or use of electricity and energy sources in electricity generation. For hydro power and wind power there is no difference. However, in 2006 hard coal as fuel was used 33 TWh to produce 16 TWh electricity, peat as fuel was used 12 TWh to produce 6 TWh electricity and nuclear power as fuel was used 67 TWh to produce 22 TWh electricity. In the combined electricity and heat production in 2006: 47 TWh hard coal gave 16 TWh electricity and 11 TWh heat. Thus, the efficiency of coal as fuel for electricity in 2006 was about 16/33= 48 %.ref. Tab 2006 & Energy statistics, Year book Tab 3.3 and 3.4.1 Watti Renew (talk) 16:50, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
Energy politics
[edit]For 2014 Crimean crisis Finnish politicians were unwilling to use economical sanctions. The politics must be identical for all countries. Thus Finnish politicians message was: If Russia would occupy Finland, Finland do not want EU to use any economical sanctions for Russia. I disagree since economical sanctions are only relevant if something is aimed to achieve. It makes me ask (please explain) What Finland/EU want's to achieve with the sanctions? Removed Electricity per person and by power source
[edit]I've removed the section "Electricity per person and by power source" because it was obsolete (only 2004-2009), all the original sources were down and archived, and I could not find newer data to replace it. If you add it back, please update it with newer numbers to make it relevant to the article.
I also joined some sections and removed an obsolete projection from the lead. The article could do with more reorganization, e.g. the politics section in pretty random and 2016 specific. 88.193.200.225 (talk) 13:34, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
