Two small comments
[edit](1) Are we really going to perpetuate the absurd practice of putting the definite article before the names of plays – "The Electra", "the Philoctetes"? If Socrates wrote "the Electra", I suppose Shakespeare wrote "the Hamlet". (2) It seems likely that this play was the first in a trilogy: at line 17, the old slave mentions that it is dawn, and the play ends abruptly before resolving the fate of Aegisthus, so another play seems to be coming. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a source that could be cited on this point. Wgrommel (talk) 19:32, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
