Um, we have other porn film articles on Wikipedia that claim to be older than 1907, like Le Coucher de la Marie (1896) and Am Sklavenmarkt (1907). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.197.63.72 (talk) 02:58, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just watched this film for the first time. In no way is this film from 1907 and not made in Argentina. It was made right here in the Good Ole USA, southern Cal more than likely judging from the terrain and the guy in the devil costume is a well-known silent film personality; no Im not going to reveal him. This was made in the early to late 1920s or even the 1930s. Silent film cameras and technique were still utilised long after the end of the actual silent era 1894-1929. As crummy as the print of this film looks, it is too sophisticated for anything out of 1907: there is moving camera, pan around, closeup, tight editing, makeup with concealment that is convincing. Foreign stags would not have been allowed in the U.S. and confiscated at Customs. I'll never understand why so-called experts, be they writers, journalists, historians etc keep saying stags are from South America or France when they know the film would've been confiscated, destroyed and arrests made for whomever it was addressed to. The women are more or less local Mexican prostitutes who are not worried about their identities and count on their exposure in the film as advertising.Koplimek (talk) 04:17, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Where exactly did you see this? --Auric talk 18:44, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
How would you be able to judge the place is not in Argentinia? All your other claims are ridiculous as well. --91.2.167.122 (talk) 23:07, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
