Dear Fram, your arguments don't fit as there are a lot of reserve team articles beside the ones of the Premier League, F.C. Internazionale Milano Primavera for example. And PLEASE discuss before deleting an article!Regards.-Lemmy- 16:58, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- I have not deleted the article, I turned it into a redirect. The existence of other articles is not a precedent to judge if this article is worth keeping, as those other articles may have been missed by critical eyes. Do you have any argument why this reserve team is notable? Many verifiable publications about it? Does it meet WP:CORP? Otherwise, it is still fit for true deletion, or for being turned into a redirect again. Fram 19:32, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Turning an whole article into a redirect is equal to a delete.I don't know why the article shouldn't be worth keeping. The team currently plays in the 4th tier of the German league system and already played in the 3rd one plus they have several honours. In the category [1] I count 17 articles. All are worthless? But when the Eintracht U23-article shouldn't be kept why should this one? -> Bayern Munich Junior Team.-Lemmy- 11:45, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Again, having other articles (which have not been discussed for deletion yet, so who knows if they would be kept either?) is not a reason to keep or delete this one. Each article is considered on its own. That the team played in the third tier and now plays in the fourth tier is a better reason for keeping them, but probably not good enough either. Looking at the website, that would be the "Oberliga Hessen", an amateur league. Why would we keep an amateur team that is the reserve team for a well known pro team? Why a whole article when even the German Wikipedia only has one line about them in the main Eintracht Frankfurt article?[2] Fram 12:07, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry but when Wiki allows clubs from the 21st (!) tier in England why not keeping a team that is obviously more relevant. But if you are so crazy about deleting the article please start a discussion on the Portal:Football and don't forget to mention that ALL the reserve teams from England,Spain and so on are not to be kept.Gosh...-Lemmy- 17:35, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- I have posted the question here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football/Notability. Fram 20:18, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

It's resolved. I took care of it yesterday. There was no separate rationale for the U23 article and the image was used in another article incorrectly. Details, details. Wiggy! (talk) 02:22, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, buddy! Too much bureaucracy, even for a German ;-) -Lemmy- (talk) 10:47, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
