Re-doubled agent

My understanding is that a re-doubled agent is a double agent whose identity is compromised resulting in him spying for the people he tried to fool whereas a triple agent is a double agent whose deception includes pretending to be a double agent for his enemy’s side. If that’s the case, it would be more accurate to call Severus Snape a triple agent than a re-doubled agent 142.113.6.241 (talk) 19:59, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
