Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --Anlorgain (talk) 12:08, 28 December 2012 (UTC) This is factual information concerning a man famous in the town of Lurgan county Armagh Ireland. There is considerable information to be found on him on the web. The 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin was the birth of a nation. Edward Joseph Costello was the only man from the North of Ireland to die in the Easter Rising, making him a figure of historical interest.
- Well you didn't mention that in the article, and the sole reference given so far doesn't mention that either. I've removed the speedy deletion tag and improved the article a bit, but it needs better sources for WP:Verification. Thanks, Altered Walter (talk) 12:27, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
