We should have an article on every pyramid and every nome in Ancient Egypt. I'm sure the rest of us can think of other articles we should have.
Cleanup.
To start with, most of the general history articles badly need attention. And I'm told that at least some of the dynasty articles need work. Any other candidates?
Standardize the Chronology.
A boring task, but the benefit of doing it is that you can set the dates !(e.g., why say Khufu lived 2589-2566? As long as you keep the length of his reign correct, or cite a respected source, you can date it 2590-2567 or 2585-2563)
Stub sorting
Anyone? I consider this probably the most unimportant of tasks on Wikipedia, but if you believe it needs to be done . . .
Data sorting.
This is a project I'd like to take on some day, & could be applied to more of Wikipedia than just Ancient Egypt. Take one of the standard authorities of history or culture -- Herotodus, the Elder Pliny, the writings of Breasted or Kenneth Kitchen, & see if you can't smoothly merge quotations or information into relevant articles. Probably a good exercise for someone who owns one of those impressive texts, yet can't get access to a research library.

@Iazyges: cool! Thanks for carrying out the review in such a timely manner. I have amended the article according to each of your suggestions here. I hope that you find it suitable enough now to pass it as a GA article. Best wishes, Pericles of AthensTalk14:38, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest we move it to "Early life of Cleopatra". True, there were 6 earlier Cleopatras, but they were obscure characters compared to the one we all know about. Her own article is simply "Cleopatra", so this one looks at first glance like it's about the early life of a different person. -- Jack of Oz[pleasantries]00:14, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@JackofOz: Well, if you can somehow get enough people to vote and form a consensus on the matter, then by all means, we can move the page. I don't think many people visit this article on a daily basis, though, and even less so the talk page. To be frank, I'm surprised you discovered this article at all! You from the guild of those copyeditors? I posted a link to this page over there recently. Pericles of AthensTalk02:23, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@JackofOz: to be honest, I'm not sure if we'll attract enough attention on the talk page about this, but you are not the first person to raise this issue as a formal complaint, so I think it's better to move the title now than to worry about it later when I submit this for FA status. I would rather avoid that sort of disaster during an FAC process! No one has objected to the idea here on the talk page about a potential move, so I will go ahead and move the article per your request. I have already done so for Reign of Cleopatra VII, which is now Reign of Cleopatra. Regards, Pericles of AthensTalk11:21, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This article recently went through an FAC nomination that was closed within weeks. Perhaps the now retired PericlesofAthens (who still does make edits on a less frequent basis) should be co-nominator of the article. But I wish to hear your opinions, Pericles and FunkMonk, and those of anyone else who might have something to helpfully comment about the article. Векочел (talk) 05:24, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This article is about her early life, yet her ruling dates from 51 BC to 30 BC are listed right next to her name, to me this comes of as potentially confusing, I would not be surprised if many readers just glanced and assumed that the dates refered to her early life. ★Trekker (talk) 10:17, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
