Argument for not deleting this page again
[edit]There is no reason to delete this page. It was deleted in the first place due to complaints and agitation by fans of a fictional soap opera character named "EJ Wells."
This E.J. Wells is an actual musician, who has recorded albums and composed music for a popular television show. He owns a recording studio, and has played with some very famous session musicians. He is certainly notable.
A "conflict of interest" was stated as a reason for removing this article in the first place. I don't understand where that came from. I've never even met E.J. Wells. I'm just a fan of his music. He isn't exactly obscure, you can even find the guy on Rhapsody.
Another reason cited was "self promotion." Since Mr. Wells did not write this article, and I wrote it as an encyclopedic entry (you will notice a lack of "this dude is freakin awesome!" language), that makes no sense either.
The guy is a fine American musician. He's jammed with Bo Diddley, for heaven's sake. Leave the poor dude alone.
Notable?
[edit]Is this guy notable? Speedy deletion was declined four years ago, but all three references appear to be WP:OR. Kendall-K1 (talk) 17:10, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
