Title
[edit](Moved from my discussion page - --Sasper (talk) 14:37, 10 February 2008 (UTC)):
I'm really curious as to your reason for moving "Dunst (television)" to "Dunst (queer network in Copenhagen)". Have you read how the naming conventions work? Specifically, I think Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people)#Qualifier between bracketing parentheses fits for this article. Even more specifically, I believe your parenthetical for the title of the article is waaaay overboard. Thoughts? -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 02:12, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- There seems to be a misconception of the word 'network' here. I never intended 'television network'. I changed it back because Dunst (television) was misleading. They are a network of individuals (now an association). For some months, they ran a TV programme on a local cable channel. This was not one of their most central activities nor what they are most known for. I think if one reads the article it is clear that we are not talking about a television channel. If the paranthesis is violating naming conventions then another suggestion is welcome. You are welcome to replace the word 'network' with something else that means an informal association of individual artists, performers and activists. I don't have English as my mother tongue so I'd rather not pick the word. --Sasper (talk) 14:32, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Gotcha - What about "Dunst (performance art)" or "Dunst (performance artists)"? -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 15:02, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe Dunst (performance [art] group) although they are also an association, activists and partymakers. The network is sort of loose, they are not a fixed group of 5-10 people like a usual band or art group. --Sasper (talk) 15:40, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- "Performance group" works for me. I'll make the change. Thanks for explaining and helping! And just maybe some day I'll get to see them :) Just curious - are the group involved in any way with the Radical Faeries? -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 15:49, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- I never heard of the Faeries before, and I doubt Dunst are involved with them, the Faeries seem to have an air of seriousity, although there are also similarities.--Sasper (talk) 18:44, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
