The article should contain a note about the fact that calling the stem-duchy "Franconia" in English is false. "Franconia" is a term which was first mentioned in 1053 and which was particularly applied to the eastern part of the stem-duchy and not to the stem-duchy as a whole. It should rather be named the stem-duchy of francia. That would raise other confusions but nonetheless: the current use of the term "Franconia" in this article - and beyond - is false.
