This page should not be a candidate for speedy deletion. The Dublin Guitar Quartet is an important Irish classical music ensemble renowned for commissioning, arranging and performing new works by well known living composers. Surely that is enough to make this article noteworthy.

The article will be improved with references in the near future

The band does not appear to be notable under the standards laid out in WP:BAND. TheMile (talk) 01:03, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On the contrary the group has been featured on national Irish TV stations RTE 1 and 2 along with national radio stations. This covers the group under those criteria. I don't understand why you are insistent on deleting this article for a group which is considered one of Ireland's primary performers of contemporary classical music. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Grithmauls (talkcontribs) 01:29, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Having found a reference that the group has been televised, I've removed the speedy deletion notice. Please be sure to cite such claims in the article. TheMile (talk) 02:24, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have begun reverting COI issues with this page. Adding citations also SeanTobyCunningham (talk) 17:58, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
