Requested move 21 December 2022

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: no consensus. 2 relists haven't given this RM any more attention, so I'm closing this as No consensus. Please start a new RM in the future if you are still interested in the move. (closed by non-admin page mover) echidnaLives - talk - edits 03:57, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Drop shippingDropshipping – The Oxford English Dictionary alongside a variety of other reputable lexicons categorizes "drop shipping" as one word ("dropshipping"). Making the same change to this article would be logical, especially considering that now any search of the term, regardless of spaces, yields results that are practically exclusively one word. Deleted an Advertisement

[edit]

I just deleted an advertisement from User:1CobraTate which read as follows: To earn money with Drop Shipping use Andrew tate university AntiMatrix Looks like an advertisement from a bot promoting the scam website of grifter Andrew Tate. Unfortunately, as a relatively inexperienced Wikipedian, I don't know how to notify a moderator about this. I know the page can have an eye kept on it, and if happens further, some measure can be put in place so only trusted Wikipedians can edit the page. Can anyone help me with it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nyonyatwelve (talkcontribs) 17:27, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Reads like a (little red) book report

[edit]

The section of the article on China needs to be cleaned up. It reads like a book report and editorializes.

It also seems to follow a very stilted series of bits about China, the economy there, how the government has “instilled” policies to help grow the economy etc.

Reads like a Chinese high schooler’s book report more than a discussion about a maturing economy opening the door for services like drop shipping. 74.215.96.5 (talk) 11:00, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ain’t it just rent seeking?

[edit]

Obviously can’t edit the page and don’t wanna without some sources, but seems to gloss over the fact that 99% of drop shipping is just rent seeking. 2601:981:4400:6F80:8DEB:6950:1630:387B (talk) 18:44, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
