Drilling fluid invasion is an important component of formation damage, central to reservoir engineering and overall production from oil and gas wells. I think it is notable, given this and the fact that it is so common (it occurs in practically all wells drilled). TastyCakes 17:22, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
