I run a website where we write synopses and spoilers for movies, and I'd really like to link to our Dreamcatcher synopsis. I'm not trying to spam; I'm making this request for about 8 movies in total. I really think this would be useful and informative to anyone looking for a bit more detail on what happens in the movie. And this wouldn't break any Wikipedia rules concerning external links...but posting the link myself WOULD break the rules. I can only ask that folks here take a look and if anyone thinks it would be useful to others, to please post the link. Here's the synopsis: http://www.moviecheat.com/ShowDetails.php?mid=146 Rasi2290

After reading through your page i can definatley say i WILL NOT be making any such links! "The ass worms leave big bloody holes when they come out, and once they're out they rip people apart." I cant imagine that being "useful and informative" to anyone.

Stupid writer

[edit]

I'm not in the habit of making such comments on WP, but, having just seen the film on TV, the screenplay is unmitigated crap. I know cinema rquires a "temporary suspension of belief" but to what extent? Two guys stuck in the back of the Rockies in winter in a hunter's cabin - and they don't have a gun??? C'mon! Okay... but what does this have to do with this article? Nobody can simply edit the article with their own opinion on the film as a whole; the idea of a one-sided article does not really fit the standards of Wikipedia. User:Icebox482000 05:21, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually it was set in derry maine. The screenplay actually was very close to the novel, which this writer above has not read.

They have a gun, its 4 guys. what movie have you been watching??--Vagrantdead (talk) 00:41, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From the heading "Stupid writer", I presumed that you were referring to the writer of the plot synopsis in the Wikipedia article. You weren't, but it still applies. Somebody failed high-school book reports. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.174.250.31 (talk) 21:05, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dogan

[edit]

Is it possible we may be seeing a mind Dogan in the telepathy scenes? This being a reference to Stephen Kings other work the Dark Tower. 24.239.66.142 (talk) 04:40, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Box office

[edit]

"Dreamcatcher did break even against an estimated $68 million production budget." That's not how this math works. The box office is not profit. It's the income of all combined ticket sales. Theatres take about half of it, and the studio spent money to market the film on top of the production budget. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.45.22.127 (talk) 11:36, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Final Flight of the Osiris

[edit]

Was mention of the short removed or was it never here? It needs to be added that it was released with the film. IRMacGuyver (talk) 02:12, 13 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
