The first line
The first line of this article is incorrect. It is not Kool Keith's first album; it was the first album he released under the pseudonym (or alter-ego?), Dr. Octagon. Marcrios 00:39, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
Excuse me, I was incorrect about that. Marcrios 00:40, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
Added stuff about content
Added some stuff about the content inside the album, what it's about, it's sexual topics, etc.
double dan
Removed Dan Nakamura, no need to list him twice.
Trip hop
I have seen Dr. Octagonecologyst cited by multiple sources as an example of trip hop, which leaves this term open for discussion. While I do not personally consider this album to be a part of that genre, I haven't been able to find a source citing this or any other Kool Keith album as acid rap. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 02:02, 29 October 2008 (UTC))
Allmusic mentions trip hop, not sure about acid rap. Portillo (talk) 10:56, 29 October 2008 (UTC) http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:4rsqoawauijd
- Acid rap is not a listed style on Allmusic. The discussion here is about whether trip hop should be included in the genre section of the album's infobox. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 22:19, 29 October 2008 (UTC))
Well Allmusic mentions trip hop in the review. Portillo (talk) 05:19, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Vinyl version vs. CD
The vinyl version is different from the CD in many ways. It has two additional songs not featured on the CD, two songs are remixes, and in the case of all four, the CD versions are gone and two other songs are absent. In other words, the two remixes replace the original CD versions and the two new songs replace two other songs. I'm working off memory here and don't have access to a site at work where I can get the track list. I do, however, own the record, and there is certainly a track list online somewhere.
I don't edit album pages enough to know how to properly insert this info into the page but I did update it slightly with a note about it. Someone better adept at this could probably fix it. -205.219.133.1 (talk) 15:12, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Singles & remixes
Should individual remix names be put into quotation marks? For example:
The 12-inch single featured the songs "No Awareness (Lyrical Hydraulics)," "Bear Witness (Q-Bert Gets Biz)," and the Interstellar Time Travel and the Earth Planet mixes of "Earth People."
Obviously the song titles go in quotation marks, but should "The Interstellar Time Travel Remix" be in quotes? AikiHawkeye (talk) 17:40, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Copy edit complete
Nice work on this entry. I hope I helped with my clean up! AikiHawkeye (talk) 17:58, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- I've done a copy-edit by request, changed a few things - I hope that improves things. Baffle gab1978 (talk) 07:51, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Also done a copy-edit by request. I payed special attention to the flow of phrases, trying to smooth several short sentences into single, flowing ones. Also, reworked a lot of the punctuation in accordance with the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. RevZoe (talk) 21:31, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Sir Menelik, Biology 101 & the original title (Ecologyst)
Sir Menelik (aka Scaramanga Shallah, aka Chewbacca Uncircumcised) is missing from this article. He appears on the following tracks: "No Awareness" & "Dr. Octagon". He also appears on the song called "Biology 101" which was eliminated from the album after the initial pressing. I noticed that his real surname (Collington) is mentioned in the track listing under "writer(s)" but given the quality of his performances, he deserves to be recognized much earlier in the article (and to have his own wikipedia entry in my opinion).
The original title was "Ecologyst" and contained the track "Biology 101" (a personal favorite).
This review is a good source of info for all three topics mentioned here:

Zionbalance (talk) 23:17, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Review appears to be a blog. I haven't seen any indication from the sources given that Ecologyst was the original album title. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 06:49, 18 April 2009 (UTC))
cover?
"The artwork for Dr. Octagonecologyst was drawn by Brian "Pushead" Schroeder." - what about the Mo'wax version? That had an MRI scan of a hand. Wouldn't it be more accurate to write in the intro: "The artwork for the non-Mo'wax release of Dr. Octagonecologyst was drawn by Brian "Pushead" Schroeder."? And why are we mentioning this in the intro? It's a minor issue, surely. Malick78 (talk) 22:20, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

Sir Menelik
Why did they omit Sir Menelik's contributions to the album? Onasuss (talk) 23:55, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
