Dovedale junior school. Heron Avenue Liverpool
[edit]l attended Dovedale Junior school in the Penny Lane area of Liverpool during the 1950's. The headmaster was Mr. Evans. He gave me and a school pal, Micky Bruce, the cane, for using bad language. George Harrison and John Lennon were also pupils at that time but two years above me.
