Categories - proposed change
[edit]I am not sure that this article should be in Category:Accidents and incidents involving London and North Eastern Railway. Although the locomotive was an ex-LNER Thompson Class A2/2, by this time the London and North Eastern Railway had ceased to exist and it was being operated by its successor, the nationalised British Railways. Similarly the 1948 Winsford railway accident article involved an ex-LMS Princess Royal Class, but is not in Category:Accidents and incidents involving London, Midland and Scottish Railway. Thus I think Category:Accidents and incidents involving British Rail would be more appropriate for this category unless anyone has any strong objections to this change. - I have now made the change for the reasons previously outlined, but am happy to discuss further if anyone has any concerns. Dunarc (talk) 22:42, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
