Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... Dmitry Olegevic Yakubovskiy is a major player in russian politics and economy. His wealth and influence in the highest ranks of the national leadership of Russia make him a person, which the world should know of. He has been nominated for the "Hero of Russia" award, played a major part in the coup d etat in Russia in 1993 and published many books in Russian. Togher with his numberous lectures he gave at different, mostly Russian universities, this makes him a very widely known man in Russia, Switzerland, France and the UAE. With the expanding of his ventures, he will become more and more known also to the rest of Europe and the USA.

Although this man pulls the strings in the background, his influence in Russian affairs is impressive. Also the size of his projects - many of them have a net worth of over 1bn USD - make him a person which one should know, or at least heard of. --RedOctoberSUI (talk) 10:27, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
