Dear Mr.Beebee I'm a black writer/director from Cape Town South Africa.Since my daunting rise in the South African film industry from the apartheid era 1980's to the present i've completed several independent films.During those heady years i was declared bunkrupt because of using my teachers salary and insurance policies to write and direct my own films-but i never gave up.Today i'm standing on the brink of fullfilling a dream that statred ten years ago.When i wrote a script that will soon becoming to fruition, with a budget that i could only dream of.I'm currently in pre-production for 6 episode x 1 hour television drama series for SABC.I would like to enquire if Mr.Beebee would be interested to serve as the DOP on this series.I love ALL his work and would feel honored if he can find the time in his busy schedule to film my series. Shooting dates: 1 September to 15 October 09 Television Tx dates: Every tuesday from 6 July 2010 @ 8.30 to 9.30pm -during the 2010 world cup. I'm aware of Mr.Beebee's work on feature films but i feel that the South African population should see his work in a homegrown production.The majority of South African's can't afford to attend cinema's nor pay cable.As a South African i'm very proud of him and believe he should be revered by ALL South African's I hope and pray that my pledge seeks favour with Mr.Beebee.If Mr.Beebee so desire i will send him the series bible.
