Merger Proposal
[edit]I propose that Dinajpur be merged into Dinajpur District (Bangladesh). The content on both pages is almost identical. Abhi 00:24, 18 November 2013 (UTC) — Preceding comment added by Skullers ab (talk • contribs) 00:16, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Dinajpur District, Bangladesh → Dinajpur District – Original name, same name district in India are divided in North and south Ibrahim Husain Meraj (talk) 11:53, 29 July 2015 (UTC) --Relisted. Armbrust The Homunculus 14:15, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
- Comment 5-second history: there was a historical Dinajpur District, Bengal (WP:REDLINK, but an article might be written [1]). It was divided at Partition [2]. The part that went to India became known as West Dinajpur district, and, as the nominator points out, that was later divided to Uttar Dinajpur district and Dakshin Dinajpur district. - NOTE the target of the request used to be a disambiguation page [3] -- 67.70.32.190 (talk) 04:56, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- Isn't having the target at the original disamb the best option? Imc (talk) 21:43, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose: no clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Additionally I would recommend that we reinstate Dinajpur District as a disambiguation page which was its role from 2005 to 2009 as previously noted by IP above. Ebonelm (talk) 15:49, 5 August 2015 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Dinajpur District, Bangladesh
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Dinajpur District, Bangladesh's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 15:25, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
