Worthwhile article?
[edit]Is this kind of article viable as an encyclopedia entry? Wouldn't it be better to simply incorporate the information into the main Wagner page or subpage? Listing this as a Wagner opera may lead some people to think it's a real work. We've been down this road before with Verdi's Re Lear etc. --Kleinzach 23:14, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- The work is of some historical significance as Wagner's first, albeit failed, attempt to write an opera. I agree it should not be listed on the infobox as a Wagner opera, any more than should his other outline projects, e.g. "Jesus of Nazareth", that came to nothing. I intend to add more information to this stub (it should not be rated "Start"), and believe it is a viable short article. Brianboulton (talk) 08:22, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- I can't help thinking that this really belongs in your impressive new List of dramatic works by Richard Wagner. --Kleinzach 09:06, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Infobox?
[edit]I suggest an infobox, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:02, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- done --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:13, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
Apologies Gerda, only just seen this. I don't think it very appropriate. Have removed it pending further discussion. I suggest that if you are going to add these boxes as you have at other Wagner operas, you raise the issue first at WP:Opera and WP:Wagner: I am flagging the matter there.--Smerus (talk) 10:10, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
