External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Destroyer Squadron 60. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20050321091202/http://www.history.navy.mil:80/danfs/c13/cooper.htm to http://www.history.navy.mil/danfs/c13/cooper.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

Re-established in 2003
[edit]at the top of the section there is a table listing the 6 DDGs assigned to the squadron in 2003. This table is outdated. Per List_of_Arleigh_Burke-class_destroyers there are currently 4 DDG homeported in Rota. they are:
Name | Hull no. | Flight | Builder | Laid down | Launched | Commissioned | Home port | Status |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Arleigh Burke | DDG 51 | I | Bath Iron Works | 6 December 1988 | 16 September 1989 | 4 July 1991 | Rota, Spain | Active |
Roosevelt | DDG 80 | IIA | Ingalls Shipbuilding | 15 December 1997 | 10 January 1999 | 14 October 2000 | Rota, Spain | Active |
Bulkeley | DDG 84 | IIA | Ingalls Shipbuilding | 10 May 1999 | 21 June 2000 | 8 December 2001 | Rota, Spain | Active |
Paul Ignatius | DDG 117 | IIA Technology Insertion | Ingalls Shipbuilding | 20 October 2015 | 12 November 2016 | 27 July 2019 | Rota, Spain | Active |
these probably are the current member of the squadron - I do not recommend this full table to main article- just the left 2 columns - then add 2 columns for date assigned to DESRON60 and date reassigned to another DESRON/homeport. Wfoj3 (talk) 12:52, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
