Direct participation?
[edit]Did she directly participate in warfare? I can't really tell because the details are rather sparse. I'm removing the women in war categories until its cleared up. Asarelah (talk) 16:58, 1 September 2014 (UTC)
- Sparse indeed! This translates Polyaenus as "attacked and took" but I think - my Greek's rusty - the single word's more straightforwardly translateable as "seized"[1] and doesn't really imply direct participation, though it doesn't exclude it either. I think you're right to remove the category until it's cleared up - which I fear means permanently. NebY (talk) 17:49, 1 September 2014 (UTC)
