Instructions need shortening
[edit]I don't know whether the full instruction set is necessary. It definitely needs some better formatting, but it would also likely be ideal if the instructions were pared down somewhat. -Jacquismo 02:30, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Also known as Trek?
[edit]I remember playing this (off-hours, of course) when I worked for a large, national insurance company running a DECSystem10. However, the name I remember using was "Trek." I believe that it also offered an ASCII graphic display of the sector you were in, making it fairly unique at the time (about 1982). - ric Catbus99 05:21, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- Are you sure you're not talking about the original single-player TREK? Maury (talk) 16:53, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Recent edits
[edit]I've restored summary material from the lede section of the article that was deleted by an IP with an edit summarized as: (removed due to no reference.) I've verified that the deleted information does indeed have references in the body of the article, where that summarized information is covered in more detail. Another edit (Nov 27), summarized as "updated information", actually implemented several problematic edits not described in the edit summary, including:
- deletion of cited information about the source code, and also the UT reference
- renaming of a header, and relocation and level change of that same header
- insertion of unsourced information about a Merlyn Cousins, his server and his game code
- deletion of the wikilinks to articles on SIMH and the Center for American History
What was the actual intent of the edit? Xenophrenic (talk) 04:09, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
