The Section "Outside of Germany"

[edit]

The section does not make any sense. This article only concerns the debt brake in the German basic law, which is only applicable in Germany. Right now the section "Outside of Germany" reads:

"As of today most EU states to which the rule is also appliable do not conform to this rule."

Why should a rule in the German basic law apply to other EU states. This would maybe fit into an article on a EU debt rule, which this article is not about. Kjuto (talk) 14:27, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed that part and another one about the brake limiting debt-to-GDP ratio to 60%. Both were confusing the German law with EU regulations. Litawor (talk) 16:26, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
