Oh you are right!

[edit]

A note about the live shows (Cleese often going over the top and trying to make Palin laugh) and the alternative ending for the Dead Parrot sketch (from I think the Secret Policemen's ball) in which when present with the dead parrot Palin in his excellent dead pan mannerism says, "Oh you are right, i'll get you a replacment right away sir." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.75.159.78 (talk) 10:18, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

Norwegian Blue Parrot

[edit]

Why does that wording redirect here? It should at least say that the species does not exist, and maybe even reference to Mopsitta, if this article is to be believed: [[1]]. » byeee 21:29, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That bit of trivia could be worth mentioning here. I don't see anything that demonstrates that they know what color its feathers were, though. It seems like they used some "poetic license." ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots21:36, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Green tickY I clarified that the "Norwegian Blue" is a non-existent species in the lead-in, and I added a reference to the Mopsitta article in the "Further uses" section of this article. Johnson487682 (talk) 16:48, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Death In Paradise" Season Three, Episode Six

[edit]

The article could mention that near the end of this episode of "Death In Paradise", (Netflix Index "Episode 22"), debuting February of 2014, a parrot of some significance to the plot is speculated to have been pining for the fjords at some point, which is puzzling because the parrot in the episode is not Blue although of course the migratory pattern might well extend from Norway to St. Marie, as the latter is fictitious.2604:2000:C682:B600:9C27:33B3:5D86:EAF3 (talk) 08:58, 10 August 2016 (UTC)Christopher L.
