This page is being created because the word daylighted when used as a verb is uncommon. I see it is frequently used in Seattle to refer to the removing of trees and brush as part of the Seattle's Urban Restoration Project. Many people, especially those who do not live in an urban area as environmentally aware as Seattle, may not know what daylighted means in this context. It is not found in Merriam-Webster Online. Nor is it found in Encarta Dictionary Online KarenAnn 15:11, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
