Move discussion in progress
[edit]There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Dave Stewart (keyboardist) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 03:33, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
Year of birth
[edit]Pppery, responding to your revert of his year of birth based on an Instagram birthday post. I don't think the RM is the best place to discuss the content of an article. To highlight the policy, WP:DOB says that something along the lines of "today is my 50th birthday"
(emphasis added) may be usable if there is no reason to doubt it
. I guess my question boils down to whether there is genuine dispute that these posts (33! ... [cake emoji] and 29 [balloon emoji], both on the same day of the year) are not equivalent to "today is my x birthday" (or "very recently ..." at the least, omitting the specific date). If the article had included the date/year all along, I reckon it wouldn't have been questioned at the move discussion (the DOBs for Dave Stewart (keyboardist) and Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) are both completely uncited, lol). - The fact of the matter is the RM is discussing that content issue, whether it's the best place to or not. * Pppery * it has begun... 16:23, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
