Birth of a relatively old man?

I was interested to note the implication in the first sentence that this David Stephenson was of age 40 when he was born. If so, I have pity for his mother, having to carry him that long. I could have amended the parenthetic note to "(aged 40 in 2012)" but this would need correcting every year, so I decided that I would delete the note and trust that most people can subtract 1972 from the current year number and reach the appropriate answer.Jamjarface (talk) 22:34, 24 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
