I know it's a minor detail, but I find I odd that there are no pictures of any kind, let alone of Johnson, in this article. I can't find any on Wikimedia Commons, either. Disambiguation

I understand that to avoid confusion between people with the same name, a distinguishing term is used, such as politician. But what is a "running back"? That sounds like some sort of appalling disease. Why not call him a (American) footballer?203.80.61.102 (talk) 03:17, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If there were only one notable American football player named David Johnson, we would indeed name the article David Johnson (American football). But there's also David Johnson (quarterback) and David Johnson (tight end), so we further disambiguate by position. This particular David Johnson is a running back.
