According to the WP article on David Brudenell-Bruce, Earl of Cardigan's father, Michael Brudenell-Bruce, 8th Marquess of Ailesbury, he has 4 daughters, Sylvia, Carina, Louisa, & Kathryn. In the cited DM article for Cardigan that references 2 siblings, he actually only makes reference to one sister, Louisa. Louisa & Kathryn are technically half-sisters as they are from his father's 2nd marriage, but I would venture to say he may be on good terms with them because he does say in the article that Louisa has rummaged in her attic for baby items as he & his 2nd wife Joanne are very unexpectedly (he is 60 & she is 48) expecting a child. At any rate, there seems to be an inconsistency here. There are no footnotes at all for Ailesbury's article to verify 4 daughters. I went back in the history & saw that the creator of the article hasn't had a thing on their talk page since 2011, so who knows if they're still around. I don't claim to have vast knowledge of the current British peerage, but is there someone who does who knows where to find out what's correct for these gentlemen & acquire the references for it? Yes, but that didn't explain why someone ignored the fact that Cardigan has 4 sisters, not 2, when they cited The Peerage where it says he has 4! ScarletRibbons (talk) 09:48, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
and non-notable relatives really have no place here, howeversomany may think Wikipedia is a site for copy/paste ... and had issue et al genealogy Crusoe8181 (talk) 09:31, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
