Update needed?
[edit]The entry has been tagged as requiring an update but I'm not sure what this refers to. The information is current as of a few weeks ago - when I find out more I will update it if its of any interest but beyond that I am a tad stumped (Emperor 15:38, 19 February 2006 (UTC))
- Actually is this in regard to the citation required next to first-time author? I would have thought that would have been self-evident from the Bibliography (Emperor 15:50, 19 February 2006 (UTC))
- Basically just wondering if he is still working on two books? Could you verify that, and provide a source. If it can't be verified, please delete it as such. TheRingess 16:50, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- Sure he told me he was. I sent him a link to the entry and he keeps me updated - if you can access it he has posted the details on the Fortean Times message board[1]. Hinterland isn't that long out and he says his agent is working on selling the next two and I have no reason to doubt him. I'm sure when the next one is in the pipeline he'll let us know and we can update with further info. (Emperor 01:39, 20 February 2006 (UTC))
- I'm not sure how easily verifiable that is. Please read Wikipedia's guidelines on citing sources and if you feel that the source is easily accessible to everyone, please go ahead and provide the link. I'm not sure that an entry on a message board counts. I think I will change the article to read..."As of 2005, he was working on...".
- Although it is the author the site requires an account to view it (although sometimes you can and sometimes you can't) so isn't easily accessible to everyone. As I suspect (pers. comm. from author) probably isn't acceptable either that seems an appropriate compromise and I'll update as soon as I know something (Emperor 05:13, 20 February 2006 (UTC))
If verification is needed on anything I can be contacted via www.davidbarnett.net. I have just delivered the second of my two completed novels to my agent, John Jarrold, who has a major web presence and can also be contacted to verify any information. Cheers. David Barnett

Jenny Everywhere
[edit]The dead link for his story The Death of Jenny Everywhere is unnecessary; it's on the web at https://jennyeverywhere.fandom.com/wiki/The_Death_of_Jenny_Everywhere_(comic_story) as I type this. Wyvern (talk) 18:29, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
