Later Soviet Republics

"Countries, which later became Soviet Republics are not included in tables below." Why ecactly shouldn't we include independent countries, that had diplomatic relations with the USSR? Why not the Baltic republics? They were independent for 22 years, before being annexed by the USSR. If noone replies, I will add them to the list and remove that sentence. Guatemala

Is this accurate? According to most sources I've read, the only Central American country that ever established diplomatic relations with the USSR was Costa Rica. Or did Guatemala eventually sever relations? Josh (talk) 22:07, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Let me edit that: The only one that established relations before the Sandinista revolution (after which Nicaragua established relations) or glasnost (after which Honduras established relations, albeit very late). Josh (talk) 05:06, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Germany in 1918 ?

i am not sure but since germany have make a peace treaty: the treaty of Brest-Litovsk the 3 mars 1918 i think they have to considered the soviet contry as legitimate? So they at least considerate they legitimate in 1918?
