A number of misconceptions appear to have grown around this film, apparently from a mis-reading of the contemporary 'Variety ' magazine of a review of the film and other newspaper reports It was not directed by Cherry Kearton, nor was it an early sound film, nor was it adapted by Joseph Menchen.

Merge proposal

[edit]
See discussion at Talk:The Miracle (1912 film)#Merge proposal
Well, I boldly carried out my proposal at Talk:The Miracle (1912 film) because it's 100 years to the day since Menchen's Miracle had its first performance at Covent Garden opera house, and I thought he deserved it. The article is not finished yet. I have redirected the links to this article by hand.

At any rate, Cherry Kearton will hopefully no longer be associated with The Miracle. The article may need a name change to Mirakel (1912 film).  Done > MinorProphet (talk) 23:23, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
