- ... that in his early career, Daniel Camargo was cast to dance a lead role at the opening night of Don Quixote at Stuttgart Ballet, over the principal dancers? Source: offline
- ALT1: ... that Brazilian dancer Daniel Camargo moved to Germany at age 14 for ballet training, even though he could not speak German or English? Source: offline

- The article meets newness and length requirements and a QPQ has been done. Sourcing is adequate; I have no access to the sources so they are accepted in good faith. I very much prefer ALT1 as I think the first hook only appeals to ballet enthusiasts while the second hook has a broader and more surprising appeal. My only concern right now is that the sentence about him not speaking German or English lacks a footnote. The nomination will be approved once this is resolved. - Thank you. Approving ALT1 only. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 01:57, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- Willis, Margaret (1 March 2014). "Dancer of the Month" is not adequate as a source citation. Gatoclass (talk) 09:26, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Gatoclass: Sorry about that. The article is from the magazine Dancing Times, now added to the source citation. Corachow (talk) 12:01, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you, Corachow. Now I wonder if you could put a cite at the end of the sentence which reads "was chosen to dance the lead role of Basilio on opening night, rather than any of the principal dancers"? I would like to verify ALT0 as well, but it's supposed to have a cite directly at the end of the relevant content. Thanks - Gatoclass (talk) 14:36, 21 July 2022 (UTC)

- If there are no other concerns, wound someone mind putting the tick back? Corachow (talk) 18:12, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Gatoclass: If your concerns are resolved, can you re-post the green tick? Thanks, Z1720 (talk) 19:11, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

- Sorry, I forgot to come back to this. I wanted to approve ALT0 as well because, with all due respect to Naruto, lots of precocious kids travel to far-flung places to study these days - tennis prodigies for example. It's not all that uncommon, whereas it seems to me that getting promoted over the principal dancers on the opening night of a new production is pretty darned phenomenal. Anyway, we can leave the choice of hook to the promoter. Gatoclass (talk) 18:40, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
