Please refrain
[edit]Please refrain from deleting the following: Suzanne Somers - Television actress & AUTHOR - Somers has been called a NY Times bestselling author on the official Dancing With The Stars site for ABC and in many news outlets. This is not up to you Callmemirela - it is also stated on Wikipedia itself. Redfoo - clearly from LMFAO, why is this not staying? He is renowned across popular culture for THIS group. Again, not fair if Riker has R5 for Redfoo to not have his band/group. And do us a favour and stop changing & to and when it is so futile, and then try to say I will be blocked from editing for the disruption. Just leave it as it HAS ALWAYS been. Goodness me, diabolical. Kiwi Jaden 05:01, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- I left a message on your talk page before I saw this, but I'll say the same thing here. I see no problem with adding these things if they are sourced. You've been on Wikipedia long enough to know that this is one of the most important things when it comes to editing. --Musdan77 (talk) 01:36, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Musdan77, thank you. I was going to say that, but I ran out of arguments. Thank you again, Callmemirela (talk) 02:06, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

If I am not allowed to edit this page, I would at least like to suggest adding the average table, scoring chart, etc. before the season begins. I suggest this because Callmemirela said we should add them days before the premiere. It's tomorrow. 76.171.71.39 (talk) 15:41, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
- Not done for now: Please wait until the day of the premiere and an hour or two before it. IP contributions have had the habit of adding empty content when it's way too early. We're expanding the article for no reasons. As such, this 'rule' will have to be followed to avoid the same mistakes made in the past. Thank you for asking, Callmemirela (talk) 16:08, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
March 16 - 3:26pm PST (6:26pm EST) - It's a few hours before the premiere. Once again, not asking for edit privileges, just a suggestion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.171.71.39 (talk) 22:27, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
- Not done: Still too early. Would you mind stop badgering editors about this? It will be edited when it is time. Goodbye. Callmemirela (talk) 22:42, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
Geez, you don't need to be rude about it. Sorry for the bother. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.171.71.39 (talk) 22:27, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
Dances for the week
[edit]Can anybody tell me why this: "Couples performed unlearned dances. . ."
is more proper and informative than this: "Couples performed an unlearned dance from previous week(s) or the Argentine Tango, Samba, Rumba, or Salsa" ?? -- olef641 04:17, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
- "Couples performed an unlearned dance" is more general than saying from the dances performed the previous week. It's always been like this and it will remain since it speaking about dances in general. Callmemirela (talk) 04:15, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- My point is, Wikipedia is about information, and the first statement is telling me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING; it is devoid of that which Wikipedia is about: information. I maintain that any dance being danced for the first time in a particular week should be mentioned, as in the second example, otherwise the statement is a useless waste of space. -- olef641 04:17, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
Scoring both weeks?
[edit]Do contestants use their scores from both weeks? It doesn't really say in this article. Is it last week's score percentage from the judges plus last weeks at home vote percentage, or is it last week's plus this week's judges score percentage plus last week's at home vote percentage? Fyunck(click) (talk) 06:38, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- No. For today's elimination only last week's scores and votes were counted. This week's judges scores will be used with people's votes from this week for the next elimination. TeamGale (talk) 06:56, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- Is there a source for that? And if so could that be placed in the article. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 06:59, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
Patti & Artem week 6
[edit]Patti & Artem are doing the quickstep for week 6.
- Please provide a source for this change. This is getting very annoying when users don't add sources, despite many reverts. Please read WP:SOURCES then return here with a reliable source. Thank you, Callmemirela (Go Habs Go!) 02:28, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Watch the live stream rehearsals they were practicing the quickstep. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.235.19.19 (talk) 17:31, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- That is not sourcing. Callmemirela (Go Habs Go!) 17:42, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

Chris and Witney total score for week 6 should be 70 points total, not 69. 31+39=70** 206.196.184.95 (talk) 04:36, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
- Done. Thanks for pointing out the needed correction. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:36, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
In Jeopardy Anounced
[edit]I strongly believe we should mention who was in jeopardy not only on the weekly charts the score chart too we can find a background color for in jeopardy because it is a very important part of the show because some people come to Wikipedia to find information for shows like this so if they miss the second week and want to check in and see someone is safe but then on tv hears them say that they were in jeopardy, that person could stop visiting Wikipedia thinking it has false information. So I strongly think we should note who was in jeopardy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.224.177.60 (talk) 23:05, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

The version of "Wiggle" used for Riker & Allison's 1920's Quickstep was a cover by Postmodern Jukebox not the Original by Jason Derulo. 67.255.97.193 (talk) 21:23, 30 April 2015 (UTC)

Week 9 Judges' Choice round
[edit]According to a source, each judge has been assigned a couple and will essentially choose their second-round dance and direct every aspect of it, from the music to the costumes. However, they will not score their respective couple, so this round will only be out of 30 points instead of the usual 40. Taking this into account, should these dances be counted in the average/best and worst tables if, say, we hypothetically say that the judge who coached the couple would have given them a '10' anyways? And how should we format the table for this week if the scoring will be altered in the second round? Any suggestions? --WIlted Youth (talk) 19:40, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
Riker & Allison's Argentine Tango
[edit]The credited song on the DWTS YouTube page is "Fur Ellise" by District 78 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ucj-l5qBSCk (in the description) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.235.19.19 (talk) 03:03, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
Rumer & Val's Freestyle
[edit]The version of "Toxic" to which they danced their freestyle was Rumer's own cover of it. The cover was released for purchase on iTunes the week of the finals. Therefore, the song should be listed here as performed by Rumer Willis, not Britney Spears. When famous covers are used on DWTS, the original artist is never listed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:304:B2EB:D640:75AA:BD26:4D7C:DA3D (talk) 00:32, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
Finale Night 2 finalists' extra (not scored) dances
[edit]Just a question. I noticed that the extra dances the finalists danced (not the 24-hour fusion challenge) are not included in the dance charts (or anywhere on the page). This is the same as it was last season. For example, Rumer & Val's disco salsa isn't listed. Nor is Riker's jive and Noah's dance with Derek & Amy. Last season, I believe Alfonso & Witney did a small Carlton bumper as did Janel & Val's jazz. Is there some way to include this information (in "not scored" blue) on the chart? The other couples dances were. Maybe instead of having the dances listed under the "fusion", add a column between "fusion" and "freestyle".
Also, encore dances used to be indicated in wiki (way back when). Now, they're not listed anywhere. Can this information also be included somewhere? It doesn't have to be on the chart; an indication in the write-up would be sufficient. (If these topics have been discussed to pieces and already decided upon, then nevermind.)
