I dont think the ranking should say "Purple belt in 10PJJ", cuz its a no gi style and his purple belt was given under Gi based Jiu Jitsu, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.145.188.74 (talk) 22:30, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, because then we wouldn't be reporting facts, we'd be reporting "whatever we feel like writing." Your edit isn't true, now is it? Paralympiakos (talk) 20:21, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{{editsemiprotected}} Dan Hardy's nickname "The Outlaw" is actually based on his being kicked out of a gym by a coach when he was younger, whereas the coach contacted Dan's friends and sparring partners, informing them that if they were to spar or train with him, that they too would be removed from the gym. Hence the name "The Outlaw" because it was fitting to his situation. The fact that Robin Hood was from Nottingham and was considered an Outlaw was mere coincidence, but one that also seemed to fit his new attitude, and one that is a reminder of home for those who are his fans. It also puts to rest the question about his being an "Outlaw" having any likeness to any "Outlaw Cowboy's" which would be of American Origin and a common argument to slander his nickname as well as tarnish his British stature and integrity.
