Is this a bruschetta (half-sandwich) compound?
[edit]The cyclopentadienyl radical will want to steal one electron from the magnesium, to become a cyplentadienylide anion which is aromatic; Right? But then it will be planar and totally symmetric. Shouldn't it bond to the Mg+ in the η5 way, like it binds to the Fe2+ in ferrocene? --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 08:06, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
