Fair use rationale for Image:Cubavision.gif
[edit]Image:Cubavision.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:28, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
The logos are wrong for Cubavisión and Cubavisión Internacional
[edit]At least according to Spanish Wikipedia and Cuban official sources.
This is still the current logo of Cubavisión Internacional, according to both the Spanish Wikipedia and the ICRT's Televisión Cubana web site.
However, as there is now an SVG version of the logo, this should be used in place of the JPEG file. (The JPEG file, instead, could be shown as a variant of the same logo.)
This is actually the logo of the domestic Cubavisión service - NOT Cubavisión Internacional, as stated in the current article - though on the ICRT's Televisión Cubana website, the stylized representation of Cuba in the logo is actually a bit more curvy.
If I have time, I'm actually going to be translating a lot of Spanish Wikipedia articles relating to the ICRT into English, armed with a WRTH and a library copy of Lonely Planet's guidebook to Cuba.

Non neutral POV: State propaganda
[edit]The article say "mainly state propaganda". What is the source of that non neutral affirmation? I have been in Cuba, and many Cuban peoples do receive both the US and the Cuban radio and TV channels (most if not all on the North coast, only the ones with satellite antennas on the south coast). That imply they have both propaganda if you want to call it so.144.85.234.128 (talk) 13:34, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
