Metal Plate in the Head
[edit]As near as I can tell, outside of pop-culture references, this article has about the only mention of metal or plastic plates in the head to replace a skull section since Craniotomy describes them as only temporary. Despite the preponderance of pop-culture references, replacing sections of the skull permanently with metal or plastic plates is a real-life procedure, one that I was hoping to read more about on wikipedia. Why are mentions of the procedure or real-life modern examples so rare here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.254.87.191 (talk) 01:58, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Job Janszoon van Meekeren
[edit]What is the source than van Meekeren recorded the first bone graft in 1668? According to his article he died two years earlier in 1666. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.175.163.120 (talk) 20:12, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
