A fact from Council on Religion and the Homosexual appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 1 January 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
The article is interesting, but it describes several events from the 1960s and then just stops. What became of the organization? Was it dissolved? Did it morph into some other organization? Does it still exist? Don't leave us hanging like that! --MelanieN (talk) 16:14, 21 December 2009 (UTC)MelanieN[reply]
That's something I want to know, too. I'm doing research into the topic, and I have yet to find any information. Its most likely that they just declined in importance as other organizations in San Francisco came to the forefront, then just quietly disbanded. When I find a source for what actually happened, i'll put it in. The WordsmithCommunicate17:19, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe when the Council on Religion and the Homosexual discovered that there's more than just one homosexual, they decided the job was too big to take on. Just a thought. EEng22:59, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
