I am unsure of the statement that Cort is based in Indonesia. Even their own official webpage is based in Korea, and every other piece of literature I've read points to Cort being Korean rather than Indonesian.
- FWFW, there are a few online discussions where new Cort owners recount being baffled that their guitar arrived with a "Made in Indonesia" sticker. While hardly definitive, I'd accept that has highly indicative until better data arrives.
Weeb Dingle (talk) 07:51, 10 March 2017 (UTC) - The only clarification I can offer is that the new Cort Indonesia factory has in recent years taken over the vast majority of production, but Cort remains based in Korea, just as Washburn (always a U.S.-based brand with domestic ownership) has imported at least 99.99% of its instruments from Asia.
