Article name

[edit]

I propose that, in accordance with WP:PRECISION, this article be renamed to Coproduction (public services). 152.16.16.75 (talk) 00:16, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree - 'co-production (public services)' is too vague - it is sometimes used to refer to inter-organisational co-production of public services - the current title of this page specifically avoids this imprecision. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tony Bovaird (talkcontribs) 00:21, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Er, I don't suppose "CoPSSUC" would catch on? Oh, never mind me. Bpdlr (talk) 23:47, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't this be Co-production (public services), with the hyphen? Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 11:54, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it should. I have only seen it with the hyphen here in the UK.Izzawiki (talk) 23:10, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Criticisms and Responses

[edit]

Who whole of this section is un-referenced, and seems to be unknown persons personal views. It may be plagiarized from somewhere even. I'd quite like it to be deleted because I can't see a reason for it to be here. Views? Justifications? Suggestions? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Izzawiki (talkcontribs) 17:20, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship between STS approach and public services approach

[edit]

Is anyone able to explain the relationship between: 1) the concept of co-production as used by Jasanoff and other STS scholars to analyze the ways scientific ideas and political institutions evolve together; and 2) the concept of co-production as adopted by natural and social scientists committed to working with stakeholders to produce knowledge that better serves communities? These seem to me to be fundamentally different projects (although with potentially interesting overlaps), and it would be good if the Wikipedia page could clarify that. 76.119.100.142 (talk) 14:08, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
